Turanga Creek Wedding Photographer – Oliver + Shevonee

Shevonee and Oli, what a wonderful wedding day at Turanga Creek. As you will see, Shev is drop-dead elegance and beauty. Her simple silhouette dress, white flowers, and beautiful details were divine. Keep scrolling until you see the sleeves later! I’m obsessed with big sleeves for brides at the moment, and Shev pulled them off with grace. This day was a fun and relaxed celebration, full of loved ones and beautiful personal moments nodding to family, faith, and culture.
Post-ceremony we had a few portraits in the vines and toetoe bushes, then headed to the glass house for a traditional tea ceremony. A beautiful way to honour and unify the joining of two families.
We got some more portraits around the gorgeous Turanga Creek property and may have sampled a few strawberries from the veggie garden…
Sunset was a winner too as we slipped out of the reception for a few shots in the golden light, scroll down to see why I always recommend this if possible, these are usually some of my favourite images on a wedding day!
The night was filled with delicious food, heartfelt speeches, and celebratory moments. Oli and Shev decided to skip the dancing and instead ended the night with some special dedications. Shev read a letter she wrote when she was 18 “to her future husband”, it was so sweet and such a special thing to have many years later reflecting on all that has happened since then. Definitely had me tearing up! Then, Oli sang a song to Shev, very sweet. Shev tossed the bouquet on the way out then they drove away in married bliss!
It was such an honour to capture this stunning day, it’s a long one with loads of images, but worth it I promise! See the vendors that helped make this day amazing below.
