I’m the kind of person who is driving along the road and say “ohh look how pretty that field is” or “what  a cool wall” or  “OMG I want to do a shoot there!” I guess I never really switch off from been a photographer and never stop scouting for cool locations or beautiful light. I love the beach and forests and mountains but am also a firm believer that beauty can be found in your neighbourhood, wherever you are, you just have to go and look for it. Even if you’re not a photographer I encourage you to go for a walk or go for a drive and be observant, appreciate the beauty around you… an ivy covered wall, a neighbour’s tree-lined driveway, a local cafe with great art on the walls, it can be anything really! Take a photo or just soak it in, notice it.

My neighbourhood has a bit more open space now and I am always discovering new things about it even after growing up here most of my life. I took my sister Esther with me to explore and take some snaps one evening and we only really scratched the surface!
