Photo Adventures with Cassey!

Owning your own business and working for yourself can sometimes get lonely.

However, I am so blessed to be a part of an amazing community of photographers in New Zealand, many I which I get to call friends too! I love it when online connections evolve into real-life friendships. Because we are all passionate about what we do, we often end up hanging out and taking photos which is always inspiring and just fun. I also believe in the importance as a photographer of getting on the other side of the camera. I get to put myself in my clients shoes and change my perspective. I realise how much value there is in encouraging, entertaining and lifting up the person being photographed. This is why I do what I do, to add value to people’s lives, to make them feel beautiful, to serve a purpose and create something amazing together.

Let’s go on an adventure!

Cassey from Yu & I Photography and I hung out in Takapuna one day. We found some daisies in the middle of a carpark (can you tell?). We love an ivy wall and of course the beach too. You’ll be surprised how much you can find in your suburb if you just look a bit harder. I also snapped a few photos of Cassey and her boyfriend but we’ll save that for another post! I love these fun portraits and I hope you do too! I’m always keen to connect with fellow photographers so if you’re up for an adventure together, feel free to get in touch!
