In February I was lucky enough to fly down to Gisborne for the weekend for Karen and Jono’s wedding. It was held at their gorgeous art-deco style house by the river. Karen and Jono chose to have a first-look before the ceremony. I love it when couple’s do this! It’s so special to have a moment alone with your love and then fun photos with your bridal party before the ceremony so you don’t have to leave the guests waiting for you later on. Rain was threatening all day and it held off until the heavens opened up in the middle of Karen and Jono’s vows. However, the rain passed and it could not deter them making their beautiful heartfelt commitments to each other and sealing the deal with a kiss! Karen and Jono, thank-you for having me, it was a privilege to be amongst your loved ones and witness the sweet admiration and emotional connection you have with each other. Enjoy married bliss xx
