Nothing like a lockdown/travel-ban to make you reminisce on all your holidays gone, am I right? I’ve had many travel photos sitting in my drafts for a long while, and I am excited to finally start sharing them. Half of me feels sad wondering when we will be allowed to travel again, and heartbroken for all the slashed plans of 2020. But, the other half feels grateful for the experiences already had and memories already made, grateful to live in a country full of incredible places to explore and hopeful that this too shall pass, and we will be able to travel overseas again one day soon.
First up, some postcards from Paris, where I spent a weekend at the end of 2018. It truly is a magical and beautiful city. During this weekend, I also went on a friend’s cycling-food-tour around Paris (yes, it was as amazing as it sounds!) which I will share with you soon. I studied French for four years in high school and, while I am nowhere near fluent, it was amazing to be immersed in the French culture and to see in real-life so many of the special parts of Paris that were always a part of our French essays and speeches. I can’t wait to visit again one day, c’est magnifique!
