It’s about time I shared another real wedding with you all! I’m excited to share Lydia and Neil’s day from my last NZ wedding season. A super sweet and relaxed couple, they kindly had friends offer their private property in Manukau Heads for them to wed. If you’re an Aucklander and you’ve never explored this area up the Awhitu Peninsula it’s definitely worth a visit, the views alone… spectacular!
I went out for a scouting mission before the wedding and found so many stellar spots, let me tell you! One of the hardest things about location-scouting is all the good spots you find that are just a little too far away or a bit tricky for a bride in her wedding dress to reach. Come on a casual adventure with me and I’ll show you the goods! In saying that, I managed to find some epic and accessible photo locations that were fab for the day!
L + N married on a clifftop overlooking the sea and the hills. Their day was very much made possible with help from family and friends, from the flowers and decorations, erecting the marquee to the delicious food! They are two loving, adventurous and down-to-earth souls, I know their marriage will be full of fun!
I can’t wait to get back to shooting NZ weddings later this year, I’m now taking booking for the 2020-21 season so please get in touch if you’d like to chat about your wedding!
Huge thank-you to Bex Bradley for second-shooting this one with me xx
