Hi guys! Sometimes we start the year with great intentions but life gets hectic and suddenly it’s April, whaaaat? I wanted to jump back on the blog, say Hi, do a little re-introduction and update you on what’s been going on in my life.

For those who don’t know me, my name is Lydia Rachel Arnold, I am 25 (for a few more weeks!) and I am a passionate, creative small business owner. I adore photographing weddings, hanging out with amazing people (that’s you!) and going on adventures outside in the fresh air. My faith is super important to me, Jesus is my guyyy and surrounding myself with people who encourage and bring light to my world is what I’m all about.

You’ll find me brunching at a different cafe every week, hiking through the bush to a secret beach, capturing genuine love through my lens and trying to make Summer last as long as possible.

If you’ve been following me on Instagram you may know that I’ve had a 9-5 job the last year while running my business at the same time. While working full time has been great in many ways, it has meant sacrificing the pursuit of my real passion in some aspects too.

In a couple of weeks some big changes are happening, I’m leaving my 9-5 job, moving house and shaking up my lifestyle to focus on what matters most. It is time for change and I’m excited about it! I can’t wait to have more time to focus on photography, to share more and work on some exciting things I have planned.
