If you know a photographer you may have heard of the phrase ‘golden hour’. It’s what we like to call the period just before sunset (or shortly after sunrise) where the light is simply delicious. The sun is low in the sky giving that balmy, glowing light, which is just a treat to photograph in! When Melody and Mark told me they wanted to go out to Piha for a pre-sunset engagement shoot I got excited! These two have such a natural and easy love for each other and were a dream to have in front of my camera. I cannot wait for their wedding in December! For now, enjoy some golden goodness xx
