Here’s some of my favourite things from the last month… a couple of helpful wedding resources, recipes and entertainment that I’ve been loving. Also, helpful for this Covid-19 isolation time.
- WEDDING SERVICE// NZ Venues.
This is an New Zealand website with extensive venue listings. An amazing resource for finding venues beautiful venues and some you may never have heard of. I love this site because it’s clear and concise with professional photography so you can easily find what you’re looking for and discover many amazing hidden spots. I recommend scrolling to the bottom and signing up for their newsletter to discover new NZ venues every week!
- BEAUTY// Mario Badescu Facial Spray.
One of my cult favourites. I love the Rosewater one and the Cucumber one is lovely too. I sometimes use this as a setting spray for my makeup or just for a refreshing spritz, so good!
- FOOD// Reinventing Keto, Elle Herself E-Book.
I’m all about finding new recipes and foodie creators, I actually have so many I could recommend (more soon!). What better time to dig into cooking/baking right now while we’re all at home. I recently purchased Elle’s Ebook Reinventing Keto and it has some great, easy recipes. You may know Elle from @elle_herself Instagram fame, I love watching her stories, she has such a lovely personality and so many great recipes in her Insta highlights also! I wouldn’t say I’m strictly keto but have been eating mainly keto/low-carb lately and find it works really well for me. This Ebook is only $17 and well worth it for loads of recipes. I know she has recently released another guide too and you can buy them as a bundle, even better!
- TV// The Marvelous Mrs Maisel.
So many TV shows I could recommend during this time, treat yoself to some entertainment fam! Recently I’ve been loving The Marvelous Mrs Maisel on Amazon Prime Video. To quote Wikipedia: “The series follows Miriam “Midge” Maisel, a housewife in late 1950s and early 1960s New York City who discovers she has a knack for stand-up comedy and pursues a career in it.” It’s clever, funny and very aesthetically pleasing if you’re into that too.
- WEDDING INSPIRATION// Together Journal Online.
Always a favourite, I love Together Journal. Their printed magazines are beautiful and always full of inspiration. During this unprecedented time, TJ have been generous enough to offer their latest issue digitally for free for a limited time (until April 17th 2020). Such a great way to still get your hands on beautiful wedding content, make sure you subscribe or have a read of Issue 19 before time is up!
