I’m so excited to share this beautiful Blenheim wedding today on Brayden and Olivia’s one year wedding anniversary! (Yes I’m a little behind on the blogging, ok!) Where to even begin? Olivia and Brayden are not only clients of mine but friends too. It’s always an honour when you get to be a part of your friend’s love-story. Liv and Brayden are surrounded by the most kind and loving families, the type you spend even a little time with, and you walk away feeling like part of the family. I got to stay in Liv’s family home, just a bedroom away from the lovely bride herself and wake up with the girls getting ready on the day, so special!
You may remember from this post, that I met Liv through her bridesmaid Poppy who’s wedding I also photographed, so it was so lovely to be back in beautiful Marlborough for another wedding celebration. I always treasure my time in this gorgeous part of our country. Liv and Brayden’s day did not disappoint! Brayden had organised a special surprise for Liv on the wedding morning. He had secretly filmed the buildup to their proposal and the whole engagement process. With the help of his friends, he put together an amazing video documenting their love. Needless to say it was an emotional watch for us all, I was totally tearing up behind the camera!
We had amazing vendors including Vinka Design for Liv’s one-of-kind dress and Nina from Pink Poppie who created the gorgeous blooms for the day. Stylist, Holly Buckley worked her creative magic over everything yet again. It was a fully-fledged family and friends affair, foraging for greenery the day before the wedding and Liv’s Dad handcrafting the driftwood candle centrepieces using driftwood from the family bach. The wedding ceremony was held in Liv’s Grandma’s church, the Nativity Church, and her brother sung her down the aisle.
Our photo locations on the day were all special spots from where Liv grew up, it’s hard to go wrong in beautiful Blenheim! I could go on about this incredible day forever but I’ll let you see for yourself… So blessed to call this my job and work with such incredible people like these. Forever grateful, enjoy xx
