A beautiful east coast engagement on the blog today with my lovely friends Brayden and Olivia. I first met Olivia when she was a bridesmaid at Poppy and Elia’s Blenheim wedding. We got chatting and eventually caught up when she moved to Auckland, a lovely friendship sparked from there. How lucky am I sharing friends with my brides?! I was so excited then when a few years down the track Liv asked me to be their photographer.

These two love the beach and they actually got engaged right here at Tauwharanui, such a gorgeous spot and perfect little day-trip from Auckland (you must go if you haven’t already!). We got up super early and planned for a beautiful, golden east coast sunrise for their shoot. It turned out to be a bit of a grey day and we didn’t get the sunrise we hoped for, however it was lovely all the same! As I’ve said before I often do so many shoots on the west coast beaches (which I absolutely adore) but I have a particular fondness for the east coast too! How dreamy is this?
