Waikato Wedding Photographer- Plum Meadows Styled Shoot

I am super excited to bring you this lovely styled shoot today! This is a brand new wedding venue in the North Waikato that you need to see. We have been family friends with the owners of this property for years and I’m lucky enough to have this beautiful place just down the road from my family home. Incredible gardens, a converted barn for your reception, plum orchards and so many beautiful spaces, it has it all!

We planned a styled shoot here with mainly local vendors. Amber Whitecliffe and Victor Bride provided beautiful dresses for Kiri to wear. Moana from Roadside Blooms (locally based) with help from Jan Periam went above and beyond with their floral creations for the shoot. Owner, Jane put together some delicious platters and sweet treats, showcasing some of the light catering options available at Plum Meadows. After looking at a few cake companies we decided on doing it DIY and I put my Mum to the task of creating the two cakes (it was definitely a family effort for this shoot!). I gave her a few Pinterest images for inspiration and let her run wild, I think she did a great job! We used the Plum Meadows own brand preserves and relishes for the reception table, a memorable favour and great idea for your wedding day.

We went for a classic, French/English country style for this shoot which suited the venue perfectly. Plum Meadows is located in Waerenga, one hour from Auckland City and 45 minutes from Hamilton. A perfect and easily accessible venue for you and your guests.

This hidden gem is now taking bookings for weddings, events and garden tours so make sure you check them out!
