A Weekend in Queenstown – Travel Photographer

Almost a year ago (can’t believe it’s been that long already!) I headed down to Queenstown for the weekend with my sister Kate to second-shoot for Grace and Tom’s wedding. See my last post for their engagement photos! While it was a work trip, we always have to make the most of exploring a little, especially when in the South Island. Our parents also tagged along for a quick escape too. We flew down the day before the wedding and headed straight for brunch, walked around town then headed out to scout the venue for photo locations. We went for a drive to Arrowtown and wandered around there. November was the perfect time to capture the lupin flowers all over the place – so pretty! Having 2 photographers in the family we always end up taking photos of each other when together, and we couldn’t help getting amongst the flowers for a few portraits (even fresh faced of an early morning flight).
