Twenty-thirteen.

2013 is quickly coming to an end and this time of the year makes me reflect back on the last 12 months while looking forward to the next 12. There are always ups and downs but I like to remember all the positive things, and learn from the negative by letting them go. It has been an exciting, busy year for me, my first year out of University. I learned an incredible amount through my work and experiences and have had some amazing opportunities. I was blessed to photograph some beautiful weddings, collaborate on creative shoots, work with and meet some amazing people.

Every year that goes by I think you learn more about yourself, you keep refining your style, building your character, strength, passion and faith. You realise what relationships matter and which you want to nurture and protect. You hold on to the things that matter most.

For 2014 I’m excited to see my business grow, to be inspired by new things, to put some wild ideas into action and to keep satisfying my thirst to learn and grow. I’m looking forward to creating some beautiful memories and hopefully adding some value to people’s lives. This is why I do what I do!

Goals and resolutions can be made any time of the year but is it exciting to think about them now, on the verge of a fresh new year. What are you looking forward to?

I hope your Christmas was filled with joy, family, lots of food and treats. Here are a few snippets from my Christmas Eve + day.
