Auckland Engagement Party turned Surprise Wedding!
When Kayla messaged me asking if I’d like to be a part of their surprise wedding I got a little excited. They had sent out save-the-date’s for their “engagement party” and decided, why wait, let’s pull together a wedding instead, and so the orchestrating began… Some may have been a bit suss about catching a bus from town to a mystery farm location for an engagement party. However, there was definitely a surprise as they walked through the gates to find Jono and his guys all suited up and waiting at the end of an aisle.
All the Pretty Details.
This day was full of genuine people, gorgeous details, real love, food-truck goodness, choreographed dances and even a sparkler exit and the end of the night. We had sunshine, wind, a touch of rain and a little rainbow too! Holly from H. Otene Stylist worked her magic with beautiful whites and greenery inspired by the forest and proximity the the rugged west coast beaches (where we also had Kayla and Jono’s engagement shoot- keep an eye out for that soon!). Kayla and Jono are completely full of joy and so much fun to be around, their action-packed day of surprises and laughter suited them to a tee.
